Erin Gillespie, the founder of Madison Street Strategies, has almost two decades of experience in media and communications, public speaking, crisis management and government affairs.


As a trainer, Erin is interactive and engaging, working with trainees to draw insights from their jobs and daily lives. Her training brings participants together in activities that highlight important skills of management and leadership. Participants consistently score Erin as a top trainer, and say they gained new skills they can implement immediately.


Erin has provided training to hundreds of individuals in state and local government, nonprofits and the private sector. Her trainings cover a broad range of topics, and she designs training courses based on individual and group needs.


Erin’s public speaking career is extensive, having presented at dozens of events, including national events in Washington, D.C., Miami, Dallas and Las Vegas. She has given hundreds of media interviews, including many during natural disasters, crisis situations and other emergencies. She is also an adjunct professor for the Florida State University’s Center for Public Management at the Reubin Askew School of Public Administration and Policy.
